GERIATRIC PHARMACIST BOOT CAMP

March 20-21, 2024

Boot Camp IconYou're Invited

ASCP will host its annual Geriatric Pharmacist Boot Camp from March 20-21, 2024. Boot Camp will be offered BOTH in-person and virtually. This year's in-person option will lead off APhA’s Annual Meeting in Orlando, FL. Learn more below.

Based on the Board of Pharmacy Specialties (BPS) Content Outline, this workshop helps participants either prepare for the 2024 exam or to refresh their knowledge of geriatric principles by working through practice skills and clinical case topics with other pharmacists and subject matter experts.

To supplement your education, ASCP will provide the course recordings and self-assessment exam to live attendees.

Effective January 1, 2024, BPS will allow board certified pharmacists to complete a review/recertification course any number of times during their recertification cycle. Courses have updated content, exams and UANs.

Why BCGP certification?
Board certification demonstrates superior knowledge and expertise beyond a licensed pharmacist.
Certification credentials may be useful in qualifying for a promotion with a current employer or in obtaining a job with a new employer. Invest in your career.

Boot Camp IconAudience

The Geriatric Pharmacist Boot Camp is for pharmacists preparing to take the BCGP certification exam and for BCGPs who wish to receive recertification credits. The course is also for those who work or want to work more with older people.
